Last Stop Work Shop Date: Friday, March 20, 2026
Work Shop Title: Last Stop Modern Quilt
Work Shop Time: 10:30am – 5:30pm with 1-hour break for lunch at 1:30pm
(6 hours instructor-led teaching/demonstrating) with OPEN SEW to follow until 10:00pm

The Last Stop Quilt Pattern was inspired by public transit maps depicting routes for multiple modes of transport. I loved how the lines and markings overlapped and echoed one another above and below ground to create colorful zigs and zags.

While making your version of this quilt, I recommend paying close attention to color placement and color value to help you have the best results. While I used spacing to carefully place the color occurrences, you may want to ensure that your substitutions pair well with their neighboring fabrics in the quilt itself before beginning.    ~Ashelyn
